  • be able to recognize risk factors for fractures in your patients 
  • know how to assess fracture risk (based on risk factors and imaging techniques) 
  • be able to make adequate decisions about initiating non-medical and medical treatment 
  • be aware of the treatment gap, reasons and possible solutions for this 
  • be encouraged to implement a proactive approach to bone health 

Target audience: Healthcare professionals who encounter patients with high fracture risk (particularly, primary care providers, rheumatologists, internists/endocrinologists, gynaecologists, orthopedic specialists, geriatricians and fracture nurses)
